Pupils Honoured with Headmaster’s Awards

Headmaster David Holland has presented nearly 50 Headmaster’s Awards today, marking a special conclusion to the Lent Term.

The prestigious badges were introduced in 2025 to celebrate exceptional dedication and excellence in extracurricular activities.

The latest recipients include:

  • U14 Girls’ 7s Rugby Team – Recognised for their impressive achievement as quarter-finalists at the National Tournament.
  • The Boys’ Choir – Celebrated for winning a prestigious award at the recent Don Valley Festival.
  • The Guitar Ensemble & Sixth Former, Methnuli Rao and Nick Honeybone – Honoured for their musical performances at the Doncaster Knights Rotary Club annual dinner.
  • The Principal Cast of the Junior School Production, Matilda – Recognised for their dedication and talent in bringing the beloved show to life.

The Hill House Headmaster’s Award was introduced exclusively for 2025, coinciding with Hill House School’s recognition as Independent Secondary School of the Year North 2025 by The Sunday Times' Parent Power School Guide. The award is designed to reward pupils who engage fully in school life beyond the classroom.

Headmaster Mr. Holland congratulated the recipients, saying, “It has been a pleasure to see so many pupils excel in their passions and pursuits this term. This award serves as a testament to their hard work, creativity, and dedication. I am immensely proud of each and every one of them.”

Congratulations to all the recipients! We look forward to seeing even more pupils earn this prestigious accolade throughout the year.
