Admissions Journey
Choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision. We want to make this as simple as possible. This section of our website has been carefully planned to guide you through our admissions process, from your initial enquiry through to your child settling in with us.
We welcome applications at many entry points across Junior, Senior School and Sixth Form, from age three in our Nursery right up to 16+ entry in our Sixth Form. However, we are happy to welcome children into any year group throughout the academic year, subject to available spaces.
Choose your child’s entry school stage below and follow the steps to joining us.
-
Visit Hill House
From Nursery through to Sixth Form, our Open Events and personal school tours offer families the chance to tour the school during the school day. We believe tours allow parents to see first-hand our facilities, meet staff and pupils, and get a real feel for Hill House and its family environment.
-
Register
After your visit, if you are considering Hill House School as a possible choice for your child, we ask you to register with us. Children are able to join us once they turn three years old. By registering with us, you are officially expressing an interest in Hill House; it does not commit you to accept a place, nor does it commit the school to offer one. We will contact you when the time is right to invite your child to spend some time with us.
-
Taster Session
Arrange for your child to spend a morning with us; enabling them to meet other pupils and participate in fun activities.
-

Following a successful taster day, a place at our Nursery may be offered for your child. Parents will be asked to confirm acceptance by returning necessary forms. If a place is to be reserved in our reception class, parents should submit a deposit.
