School Grounds' Development 2024

Since its establishment in 1912, Hill House School has been a beacon of educational excellence, continuously evolving for the school itself, and our pupils. With unwavering commitment from our Governors, Hill House has risen to become one of the foremost schools in the North of England.

In the past 15 years alone, the school has undergone remarkable transformations, from relocating to Auckley to establishing a thriving Sixth Form.

Academic achievements, sporting triumphs, and extracurricular successes have flourished, contributing to the school's growing popularity.

Our dedication to providing state-of-the-art amenities is evident in the construction of facilities such as the Sixth Form Centre, the Music School, and the Paver Hockey Pitch. These enhancements reflect our commitment to creating an environment where our pupils can thrive.

In 2024, Hill House has now completed the latest phase of our development journey, a range of new projects that have further enhanced the Hill House journey for pupils. With the addition of 'New Court' to the school grounds (formerly known as Oxford House), we have expanded and enriched our facilities to serve our school community even better.

New Court features state-of-the-art facilities, including a bespoke Music School, a vibrant Art School, a fully equipped Fitness Centre, and a dedicated Year 6 Suite. These modern amenities will not only enhance the school’s ability to offer a broad and dynamic curriculum, but will also free up space across the grounds to increase the number of classrooms and workspaces available.
