Canoes, Climbing, and an Alien Hunt for Year 3s!

Last week, from Wednesday to Friday, our Year 3 pupils embarked on a fantastic adventure at Bewerley Park Outdoor Centre, North Yorkshire! The three-day residential trip was packed with excitement, challenges, and outdoor exploration, providing an incredible opportunity for the children to develop their teamwork, resilience, and confidence.

The adventure began with a canoeing session on a beautiful lake, where the children worked together to paddle, steer, and navigate the waters.

Next up was rock scrambling at the famous Troller’s Gill, a thrilling activity that saw our young explorers climbing over rocky terrain, squeezing through gaps, and conquering natural obstacles.

A hike around Nought Moor followed, where the children learnt about the local environment and wildlife along the way.

On Thursday, the pupils took on the challenge of rock climbing at the iconic Brimham Rocks. With the guidance of expert instructors, they tackled the impressive rock formations, testing their strength, agility, and problem-solving skills.

As night fell, the excitement continued with an exciting alien hunt in the dark!

The trip was a fantastic success and a huge thank-you goes to the staff and instructors who made the experience possible.
