Sketch for Survival Milestone for Lilly

Hill House School is proud to announce that one of our talented pupils, Lilly Geraghty (Year 10), has successfully progressed to the second stage of the renowned Sketch for Survival Competition. Her stunning drawing of an African Wild Dog, created with coloured pencils, has secured her a place amongst the competition's top contenders.

Sketch for Survival, an initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for the conservation of endangered species, attracts entries from young artists worldwide. Lilly’s intricate and vibrant depiction of an African Wild Dog has demonstrated her artistic prowess and her keenness to support the preservation of wildlife.

“We are incredibly proud of Lilly's achievement,” said Miss Atkinson, Head of Art at Hill House School. “Her talent and hard work have truly shone through in her drawing. This competition is highly competitive and advancing to the next stage is a significant milestone.”

Lilly’s artwork will now be featured in an upcoming exhibition, where it will be displayed alongside other exceptional pieces from young artists. The next stage of the competition will involve public voting and further judging to determine the final winners.

We all congratulate Lilly Geraghty on her remarkable achievement and wish her the best of luck in the next stage of the Sketch for Survival Competition.
