Junior School Dazzle with Fiddler on the Roof
This week, from Monday 1 to Wednesday 3 July, our Junior School children have dazzled audiences with their wonderful performances of Fiddler on the Roof!
Performing each evening, as well as a special matinée for friends of Hill House at Branton St Wilfrid's C of E Primary School, the cast portrayed the story of Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to marry off his daughters and instill in them a sense of tradition in the face of growing anti-Semitism in Czarist Russia.
Performing much-loved classic songs such as 'Matchmaker' and 'If I were a Rich Man', the Hill House Junior performers did a fantastic job in bringing this story to life!
